The Tiny Studio announces new hub opening in Cluj-Napoca, Romania

Updated: Mar 24, 2019

The Tiny Studio is pleased to announce its new hub opening in Cluj-Napoca, Romania, on 20th February 2019.

Whilst the studio operates digitally, the Cluj location is the 1st one in Central and Eastern Europe (CEE) and aims to support the regional community, marking the 2nd hub for The Tiny Studio, which will celebrate its 3rd official anniversary this August.

It's a great moment to expand the footprint of our studio into the vibrant community of Cluj, particularly with the booming startup environment there, with an average of more than 5,300 companies being launched every single month. We look forward to supporting the new entrepreneurs and thriving small business enterprises that call Cluj home, says CEO and Founder Alice Vasiloiu.

As a cloud-based creative hub, The Tiny Studio will offer the Cluj community of entrepreneurs online and digital solutions to help address their branding and marketing needs. The physical location is of strategic value, as it will not be the host of any on-site activities.

The new location will help speed up the growth of the studio's creative network in the region, and to efficiently service the needs of the community, The Tiny Studio will hire the first regional contact for CEE this coming autumn. This new hire will be supporting local entrepreneurs with the on-demand regional creative workforce needed for their startups.

Having one of the lowest corporate taxes in Europe - respectively 16%, Romanian also comes 2nd after the Netherlands for the number of people speaking a foreign language, however the diversity of spoken languages exceeds those of Holland: in Romania you will easily find a good number of people speaking English as well as French (the country is a member of the Francophonie - OIF), Italian and Spanish, Russian or even Turkish - especially in the South Eastern Romania.
